Welcome to Star Dance Company!
Hello, I’m Alice, owner of Star Dance Company! I run weekly classes at Stoke Memorial Hall.
At Star Dance Company, I am not strict on technique like traditional dance studios. Instead, I focus on creating a supportive space where children can explore their passion for dance through our Three Stars to Success — Confidence, Creativity, and Respect.
We have a strong community feel and put on two shows each year: our Summer Show and our End of Year Show & Awards. These are wonderful opportunities for children to build confidence on stage, celebrate their progress, and share their love for dance with family and friends.
Whether they’re beginners or experienced dancers, every child is free to discover the joy of dance in a nurturing, inclusive environment that prioritises individuality, wellbeing, passion, and confidence over perfection.
Weekly Classes
Mondays
- Senior’s (age 12–16 yrs) | Commercial & Contemporary (performance-based) | 5:15 – 6:15 PM
Thursdays
- Mini’s (age 2.5–5 yrs) | 3:40 – 4:20 PM
A relaxed introduction to movement through games, songs, and creative play. Children explore how their bodies move to music with a new theme each week.
- Infant’s (age 5–8 yrs) | 4:30 – 5:20 PM
An introduction to rhythm, space, and creative expression with basic technique, choreography, and fun movement games.
- Junior’s (age 8–12 yrs) | 5:30 – 6:40 PM
A class for children with some dance experience, learning both contemporary and commercial/jazz routines with a focus on expression and creativity.

We’re excited to be taking part in the Spring Forward Take Art Dance Festival 2026!
