About Us

Our hall is owned by a village charity, the Stoke sub Hamdon Memorial Hall Trust.  The land on which the Hall and grounds are situated were gifted for the benefit of the village back in 1952 with the parish council acting as a custodian Trustee.

Local volunteers act as Trustees to manage the Hall on a day to day basis to provide a warm and welcoming venue for villagers and visitors alike.  Health & Safety and good governance are held high in the Trust's values. The Hall holds a Premises Licence, a Music Licence, with the ICO for Data Protection and CCTV.   We regularly review our Risk Assessments for the Health and Safety for the Building, Fire and COSHH and have a suite of policies and procedures to follow best practice.

Our Charity Commission registration number is 304642
