Our village hall, known as The Memorial Hall, is in the heart of Stoke, one of the hamstone villages in South Somerset, close to Ham Hill Country Park and about 3 minutes from the A303.
The Hall is set in large grassed grounds with a well-equipped children’s play area and has its own 36 space car park, including disabled spaces.
The main hall is light and spacious with free WiFi and has an entertainment licence for 200 or 100 if seated at tables (dancing 200 people or 140 when using tables). It is the perfect venue for Anniversary and Birthday Parties, Training Days, Fund raising events from Jumble Sales to Fashion Shows, Keep-fit Classes, Art Classes, and Band Concerts. There is plenty of space for a children's bouncy castle.
The newly decorated stage has rear access to a changing room / an additional small meeting room, with a toilet and side access.
There is a public address system with a hearing loop, a large screen and projector, ideal for performances, presentations and concerts.
