Kettle Belles Biomechanics

Why kettlebells?

Kettlebells help develop functional strength, increase muscular endurance, improve mobility & flexibility through the use of weights. You only need one, or possibly two bells to achieve a full body workout.

Why biomechanics?

Biomechanics in sport incorporates a detailed analysis of sport movements in order to minimise the risk of injury and improve sports performance.

In layman’s terms everyone moves differently. This can be due to injury, age, fitness, lifestyle or generally how we’re put together. Teaching good form, modifying exercises when necessary & encouraging body awareness allows us to build knowledge of how we work as individuals. This in turn, allows us to perform workouts safely away from a class environment.

Kettle Belles Biomechanics are pre-paid courses, taught by Kettlebell instructor, Biomechanics Coach & level 3 Pilates Instructor Ali Meek.

All kettlebells are provided, all you need is a mat (although I do have a few spare!), a love of fab music & most importantly a great sense of humour!

When do we meet?

Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.   Courses are run in term time, but also through the summer if you want to keep beach fit!    I’m available for 1:1 sessions as well as demo classes.   Please contact me for further details:

What it costs

The cost depends on how many weeks the course runs for, which in turn depends on how long the term is. For more information, contact Ali direct.
